Finnish Bluetooth speaker can survive sauna temperatures

It’s summer, and music is a must on the beach, at the swimming pool, in the woods and maybe even in the sauna.

Because of course a Bluetooth speaker developed in Finland has to be able to survive a sauna, and the new Finnish Zone Bluetooth speaker can do just that, as well as being able to store ice cubes thanks to its special design.

Zone Bluetooth is splashproof (IPX4) and resistant to both cold and heat. And it’s designed as an ice bucket. There’s even enough space to use the ice cubes to chill three or four beers. It doesn’t get much more Finnish than that.

But the manufacturer also promises good sound, even daring to call Zone Bluetooth a Hi-Fi speaker. In any case, it supports numerous Bluetooth audio profiles, including A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, SPP, BAS, DIS, FMP, HRP, HRS, HTP, HTS, IAS and LLS, and promises speaker distortion of less than 1%.

Sound is provided by two 10W full-range drivers and a 20W subwoofer. The frequency range is 40 Hz – 20 kHz (-6 dB).

The speaker comes with a built-in 2500 mAh battery and weighs 2,1 kg.

Zone Bluetooth costs EUR 369 and can be ordered here.
