The very best wireless earbuds on the market – according to myself – are Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2. Excellent sound quality, tailored operation and EQ function to adjust the sound, as well as long playing time of 7 hours in the earplugs themselves. 20 hours extra playing time with the charging case. And also with active noise reduction, which comes in handy. But the price of over 3,000 kroner is a deterrent for many. Which is why Sennheiser is now launching the cheaper – but almost as good according to the manufacturer – CX 400BT True Wireless.
CX 400BT True Wireless – functions
Sennheiser lets almost all the technology from the more expensive Momentum siblings drip onto the cheaper model. User-adjustable control buttons, active noise reduction, voice control for those who like it, and support for better audio over Bluetooth with aptX and AAC audio codecs.
The 7mm large speaker elements are also the same as in the more expensive Momentum model.
Bluetooth 5.1 ensures the best range and connectivity to two devices simultaneously.
The CX 400BT True Wireless comes in the colors black or white, and can be purchased from 15 September.
We already have a pair on their way to review.
