The Pearl Keshi – compact and airborne
Both the compact subwoofer with its 6.5-inch element and the satellite speakers stand on a stand that is as disconnected as possible from the ground. They hang, so to speak, in the air, to release them from vibrations from the floor or shelf, and thus provide the cleanest possible sound.
The speakers have a brand new speaker element, which is powered by a 300 watt amplifier. In each of them! The membrane is only 50 micrometers thin, and is driven by a powerful neodymium magnet.
The audio signal is digitally converted with 32-bit / 768 kHz precision, and a digital processor ensures that the electrical audio signal is best adapted to the acoustics of the speakers, so that what comes out of the room is as clean as possible.
The subwoofer is powered by a 450 watt amplifier, so you can both hear and feel the dynamics of your favorite music.
Streaming
Cabasse The Pearl Keshi can be connected to Bluetooth or network, and streams music from services such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer and Internet radio, m.m. The system is controlled with the StreamCONTROL app, and you can also play your own music files whether it is in compressed MP3, AAC or WMA format, or if you use high-resolution files such as AIFF, FLAC, ALAC, DSD64 and DSD128.
The Pearl Pelegrina – powerful grandeur
If you do not find around GBP 2,500 for The Pearl Keshi excessive enough, then you could multiply it tenfold – which is what you need to get yourself a pair of The Pearl Pelegrina!
These are a pair of large spherical cabinets that stand on racks that almost look like tentacles. Which in turn makes the speakers reminiscent of an invasion from space…
The cabinets each house their own 3-way coaxial element, which means that bass, midrange and treble sit on top of each other and play on the same axis. This creates the best possible stereo perspective, no matter where in the room you are sitting, and no matter the distance to the speakers. The element is the same as in The Sphere and Baltic V. The bass diaphragm has a diameter of 30 cm, ie 12 inches, and the speakers extend all the way down to 10 Hz. The amplifier power of a total of 3700 watts gives a maximum sound pressure of 134 dB, so take care of your hearing – and the neighbors!
All amplifiers and connections are integrated in the base of the floor stand, and Pelegrina also has a built-in room correction that automatically calibrates the speaker for optimal sound quality regardless of location.
