The little Mojo amplifier is the best portable headphone amp we know of. It drives most headphones with ease, and lifts the sound quality many notches.

Now it comes in a new and improved version called Chord Mojo 2.

It is still light and compact at 185 grams, but has a better lossless DSP with 40 cores, digital tone control and EQ, which does not reduce the sound quality. An improved FPGA DAC will provide both better resolution and better battery life, and improved filtering will lower the noise level.

There are also presets of EQ that can be changed by the user, as well as bass and treble control, and bass and treble shelf.

Mojo 2 is improved in every way.

The menus have also been expanded with DSP selection, crossfeed, button locking and button brightness adjustment.

On one side, the Mojo 2 has two 3.5 mm headphone outputs, on the other side, coaxial, dual coaxial and optical input with support for up to 32-bit / 768 kHz – in addition to micro-USB and USB-C.

Mojo 2 can also be used with the separate Poly streamer, which makes it wireless with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and support for AirPlay. It also has support for Roon endpoints and is well suited as a voltage amplifier in a system.
